Medical Reserve Corps Program Deployment Process
1. AHC-Office of Emergency Response
- Determines that MRC needs to be deployed
- Receives approval from AHC leadership to initiate deployment
- Notifies MRC Members (text, email, phone call)
2. Medical Reserve Corps Member
- Receives notification of deployment
- Determines interest and availability
- Obtains approval/permission from instructor/supervisor for absence (coverage form to be completed)
- Signs up for deployment via Shiftboard
3. U of M Medical Reserve Corps Program
- Provides liability protections
- Supports member while deployed
- Provides training
